High School teams

We have gotten some questions recently about our High School "club" teams.
Litchfield Hills offers both a boys and a girls high school lacrosse team for high school students from our area to be able to play. Many high schools in our immediate area do not offer lacrosse as a school sport. Additionally, students who may play a different spring sport for their school can still be able to play high school lacrosse. (Check with your school's athletics rules). Students in CIAC member schools may not, per CIAC rules, play lacrosse for their school team AND for our team.

We play against other club programs, and local private and public schools.
Players in our programs come from:
Housatonic Valley (may co-op a boys team this spring, offers a girls team)
Nonnewaug (has a boys club team like ours, but not girls)
Wamogo (has a boys varsity team, but not girls)

Our teams are not "club teams" by today's definition (pay-to-play "elite" programs) - We are more like a park and rec type club team.

Go Hills!
